In his message of congratulations, the President noted Tajikistan’s achievements in resolving current socioeconomic development issues, and the country’s constructive foreign policy and growing influence in Central Asia and beyond.
Mr Putin gave a high assessment of the rapid growth in the two countries’ relations of strategic partnership and alliance, and their cooperation within the Commonwealth of Independent States, Collective Security Treaty Organisation, Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and other multilateral bodies.
The President said he is certain that Russia and Tajikistan will continue their efforts to strengthen their mutually advantageous cooperation in the interests of both peoples, and said that Russia supports in every way the Tajikistani leadership’s consistent efforts to guarantee regional stability and security and prevent attempts to destabilise the situation in the country.
