In his message, Mr Putin noted the high level of the two countries’ bilateral dialogue and said that Russia and Argentina, which recently celebrated the 130th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, have set their course on developing a comprehensive strategic partnership. In particular, they have plans for large joint projects in hydroelectricity, nuclear energy, and oil and gas production. The two countries work productively together in the UN, G20 and other multilateral organisations.
Mr Putin said he hopes for active work together to continue developing constructive bilateral cooperation in various areas and coordinate efforts to resolve current international issues. This is in the fundamental interests of the two countries’ friendly peoples and contributes to ensuring stability and security in Latin America and throughout the world.
