At the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, heads of state of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan summed up the first year of the Eurasian Economic Union and identified guidelines for further developing the integration association.
In particular, the meeting participants discussed the development of the regulatory framework and boosting cooperation with other countries and integration associations. They also considered the new composition of the Eurasian Economic Commission’s Board and the Union's budget for the next fiscal year.
A number of documents were signed during the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council relating to, in particular, to certain organisational matters, the Eurasian Economic Union’s budget for 2016, road transport and a population census in the EAEU member states.
