The President of Russia was at Vorobyovy Gory (Moscow's Sparrow Hills) to talk with former students at their graduation ceremony.
They discussed issues concerning applying for universities as well as the recent victory of the Russian national football team over Holland.
Dmitry Medvedev wished all graduates a positive mindset, good luck and success.
Earlier in the evening, the President congratulated graduates on having finished their studies. In the greeting, the head of state said, in particular:
”This is a significant event for each graduate, for your parents and mentors. Today you stand on the threshold of responsible decisions, are about to leave the world of study, and are remembering the best things about your studies. And tomorrow you will enter adulthood and begin to build your own professional career.
Of course, you have yet to find your place in the world, to become a truly useful to your country and society. But the education you have received will remain a solid foundation for future successes.“
