Inspection of Kerch Strait bridge site

Vladimir Putin inspected from on board a helicopter the construction work underway at Tuzla Island for the project to build a bridge across the Kerch Strait to Crimea. The President then visited the construction site, where he inspected the state of progress and spoke with the construction workers.

Construction and installation work got underway following approval of the bridge’s design by Russia’s Chief Directorate of State Expert Review. The 19-kilometre bridge will connect Taman and Kerch and will be the longest in Russia.
