Mr Golubev said the construction of the stadium is ahead of schedule and the construction of the airport is on schedule. They have completed a 3.6 km long landing strip, which can accommodate all aircraft types. The airport is designed to receive 5 million passengers. The Governor said that the airport is part of the region’s transport infrastructure development plans and will also increase its investment appeal.
