The message reads, in part:
“You justly take pride in the rich legacy of your legendary university, as you dutifully preserve the unique traditions of training highly qualified professionals instilled by the founding fathers – the outstanding scientists Pyotr Kapitsa, Nikolai Semenov, Sergei Khristianovich, Lev Landau. The effectiveness of the “Fiztech system” is proved beyond a doubt by the impressive achievements of its alumni, including a brilliant assemblage of Nobel Prize winners, heads of the Russian Academy of Sciences and academic institutes, professors and lecturers of the largest universities in Russia and the world, and leaders in high-tech industries.
It is encouraging that the Institute’s faculty and students are never satisfied and continue to add to the prestige of their alma mater with their academic and professional successes. And this is the reason why a diploma from your university is evidence of deep, elemental knowledge and serves as a reliable pass into the future.
I am confident that MIPT will continue to attract under its banners talented and committed young people with creative ideas, and make a significant contribution to the development of Russian science and education.”
