In his message, the Russian President praised Kazakhstan’s success over the past 25 years in solving issues of economic, social, research and technical development, as well as in gaining respect on the global stage, which is proven, in part, by its election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for 2017–2018.
The President noted the dynamic development of bilateral relations and the coordination of efforts within the Eurasian Economic Union and other bodies of multilateral cooperation.
Vladimir Putin expressed confidence in the further strengthening of bilateral strategic partnership and alliance for the benefit of the people of Russia and Kazakhstan, and in the interests of stability and security in Central Asia and the entire Eurasian space.
