The Russian leader thanked President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev for the Kazakhstani partners’ contribution to the organisation and hosting of the International Meeting on Syrian Settlement in Astana on January 23–24. Both parties stressed that a significant impulse had been given to ensuring a peaceful settlement of the Syrian conflict.
