The President visited the information, energy, space, and materials technology sections in particular.
The forum first took place in 2012. This year, more than 500 senior-level schoolchildren with an interest in engineering and the natural sciences, and their teachers, are taking part.
The forum’s aim is to give teenagers the chance to work out where their interests and abilities are through resolving practical tasks and help them choose their future professions.
The forum also gives representatives of commercial companies an opportunity to spot talented human resources and sign contracts with them at an early stage.
