“The Land Forces of the Russian Federation have a glorious history that is the pride of the current generation of military personnel and officers. The Land Forces have always been a crucial part of national defence and security. They have withstood the test of major military operations brilliantly and added many a glorious page to the chronicle of victories during the Great Patriotic War.
The Land Forces form the core of the Russian Armed Forces. They are noted for their high training standards. They honourably carryout the tasks given to them, they preserve and add to the military experience and traditions of their predecessors and look up to the veterans.”
