The message reads, in part:
“Leading up to Victory Day, the famous Orlyonok summer camp has brought together hundreds of children from all over Russia, as well as from Kazakhstan and Belarus. You are all united by a desire to live your lives responsibly, by deep respect for the mutual military past of our nations, and, of course, by your tremendous efforts at military, patriotic, volunteer, veteran, and search organisations and by your sincere aspiration to work for the benefit of your Motherland.
I want to note that the organisers made sure your stay on the coast of the Black Sea in the Krasnodar Territory is as comfortable and productive as possible. Guided by your elders, you can immerse yourselves for a few days in the military routine, try your hand at various sports and creative activities, take part in interesting discussions, and, most importantly, learn to work together as a team, make new friends and meet like-minded people.”
