On June 8, Vladimir Putin will have talks with President of China Xi Jinping. The two leaders plan to discuss the entire range of issues related to Russian-Chinese comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation, including the implementation of large-scale joint projects in energy, transport and industry.
Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping also plan to discuss the international agenda, including the developments on the Korean Peninsula and in the Asia-Pacific in general as well as the situation around the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on Iran’s nuclear programme.
Following the talks, the leaders will sign a number of bilateral documents.
In addition, Vladimir Putin will have meetings with Premier of the State Council of China Li Keqiang and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China Li Zhanshu.
On June 9–10, restricted and expanded format meetings of the SCO Council of Heads of State will take place in Qingdao to discuss the current SCO activities and priorities for its further development. The participants will exchange views on current international issues. A package of documents will be signed following the summit.
Vladimir Putin will also hold several meetings with heads of state participating in the summit.
