Overcoming difficulties and complex stages of the route, participants from Russia and other countries fully employ their professional skills, demonstrate stamina, team spirit and showcase the ultimate performance of their vehicles. They give sincere and rich emotions to numerous supporters who watch the rally closely and passionately support their favourite teams.

The international Silk Way Rally starts off in Astrakhan. This year, the entire route runs through Russian territory, via the Astrakhan, Volgograd, Lipetsk, Tula and Moscow regions as well as via the Republic of Kalmykia. The race will finish on July 27 on Red Square in Moscow. Over the seven days, the drivers will cover around 3,500 km.
Russia’s KAMAZ-Master Team is represented by six trucks, including a gas-fuelled KAMAZ driven by Sergei Kupriyanov.
