The programme will start with an informal dinner attended by the CIS heads of state in the evening of September 27. The presidents are expected to discuss various matters, including sensitive issues, in an informal setting.
The main programme of the CIS summit will take place on September 28. The presidents of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, and Uzbekistan and the Prime Minister of Armenia have confirmed that they will participate in the event. Turkmenistan will be represented at the deputy prime minister level. Restricted and expanded attendance meetings are planned.
President of Russia Vladimir Putin will meet with President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on the sidelines of the summit.
