The message reads, in part:
“For the past thirty years, the New Names charitable foundation originally founded by Ivetta Voronova, an outstanding selfless, creative and enthusiastic person, has been making a great and highly relevant contribution to the development of Russian culture.
Thanks to the fruitful multifaceted activities of the foundation, young musicians, artists and poets have the opportunity to practice art, improve their skills, and acquire valuable experience and knowledge from respected mentors.
It is gratifying that many of the foundation’s grant recipients and protégés have grown to become real stars, winners of prestigious international competitions and shows, people of generous talent and devotion to their art who have achieved tremendous success and can now inspire the younger generation to new achievements.”
Virtuoso pianist Denis Matsuev, one of the first people supported by the Foundation, National Artist of Russia, winner of the State Prize, has been the president of the Foundation since 2008.
