The President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov conveyed his heartfelt gratitude for the splendid way his recent visit to Russia was organised. Both Presidents expressed their satisfaction with the progress made in implementing the important agreements designed to facilitate the comprehensive development of cooperation between Russia and Turkmenistan.
During their conversation they also discussed preparations for the forthcoming visit of the President of Russia to Turkmenistan, during which they plan to attend the opening ceremony of a new building for the school named after Alexander Pushkin. This event is viewed by both sides as a symbol of the ongoing development of cooperation between the two countries in the cultural and educational spheres.
They also touched upon other issues related to preparations for the next summit meeting between Russia and Turkmenistan, in particular concerning the further development of cooperation in the energy sphere.
