Another 500 names have been added to the initial golden hundred, a list of names in the management personnel pool established under the President’s patronage and announced in February. These names top up the so-called Presidential thousand.
According to Sergei Dubik, chief of the Presidential Civil Service and Personel Directorate, representatives of federal and regional authorities make up 32.4 percent and 18.8 percent of the new list, respectively; business people represent 29.8 percent of the names, while science and education representatives make up 19 percent. Women accounted for 13.8 percent of the names on the list. There are no representatives of law enforcement agencies on the list, Mr Dubik said: in 2008 and 2009, the President issued separate orders on the formation of special personnel reserves for these departments due to the specific nature of their work. These lists are not open.
