The Executive Order was drafted so that Russia can fulfil its international obligations as a participating country in the Missile Technology Control Regime. The amendments specify the types and technical parameters of certain products, technology and software that could significantly contribute to building missiles capable of delivering weapons of mass destruction, and the export of which is regulated by the state.
The items in question include several types of rocket and jet engines, rocket fuels and composite materials used in rocket making, on-board guidance and command systems, and also the relevant production and testing equipment and scientific and technical information.
The Order comes into force three months from the date of its official publication.
