Dmitry Medvedev congratulated Emir Kusturica on receiving the 2009 award from the International Foundation for the Unity of Orthodox Christian Nations.
The award is presented for outstanding work in strengthening unity among Orthodox peoples and for advocating and promoting Christian values in society. The award is being presented for the tenth time.
