In the follow-up to the meeting between Vladimir Putin and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on May 16, held on the sidelines of the anniversary CSTO summit, the leaders discussed topical matters of the bilateral agenda, including some practical issues of trade and economic cooperation. They also talked about some aspects of the integration associations’ operation in Eurasia.
The presidents confirmed their intention to continue strengthening the alliance and strategic partnership between Russia and Kazakhstan across all areas.
