The message reads, in part:
“Your profession is distinguished by its longstanding traditions, its worker dynasties, and its noble, creative, and inspiring mission – after all, a builder’s work largely determines the quality and pace of the country's development and serves all Russian people.
Today, we are honouring the members of the Russian construction industry – all the excellent, knowledgeable and dedicated professionals. And of course, on this festive day, special words of gratitude go to the industry's veterans. Their creative and selfless work should be given the credit for all the cities and towns, large industrial facilities, and social, energy and transport infrastructure that we have.
It is gratifying that the current generation of Russian builders is making a significant contribution to attaining key national goals, primarily through providing Russians with affordable housing and landscaping projects, while making full use of the unique experience gained by their predecessors in developing and using cutting-edge, safe materials and technologies. In spite of the challenging situation, the construction industry is confidently demonstrating its efficiency, working really fast and well, and setting new records. This industry is by right regarded as one of the drivers of the national economy.
I should specifically note that our builders, showing courage and professionalism, are providing help to the residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics.”
