The message reads, in part:
“I am pleased to note that in the past few years Bolshaya Peremena has enhanced its prestige and traditions and is now rightly considered one of the most important projects in the Movement of the First, a Russian children’s and youth movement.
These finals have brought together school students from different parts of the country, including the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions as well as your age mates from many foreign countries, here at the Artek International Centre. I know that you have worked hard, withstood tough competition in the qualifying tours and performed well in the finals.
I am confident that you will remember the days you spent in Crimea on the Black Sea coast for a long time because the national Bolshaya Peremena contest gives you a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge, skills and creative potential, to learn to work as a team, to find new friends and like-minded people and discuss with them important issues that are vital to youth.
Using this opportunity, I would like to thank your parents and your teachers-mentors. They share your interests, sincerely believe in you and support you on your road to success. ”
