The message reads, in particular:
“The exhibitions convincingly demonstrate the domestic economy’s scientific, technical and industrial achievements, and Russia’s growing potential in preventing man-made and environmental disasters, and in minimizing their aftermath. Our country is rightly considered to be one of the world’s leading producers of quality arms including military and special equipment. This fact can be seen in the annual growth of export contracts. International exhibitions, which are traditionally held in the Urals, are playing a major role in this context.
I wish you successful work, new contracts and further achievements in consolidating Russia’s defense and economic potential.”
The exhibitions display samples of weapons, military hardware, and ammunition, as well as equipment for the Ministry of Civil Defence, Emergencies and Disaster Relief, for fire fighters and law-enforcement forces. There are also samples of civilian products, new materials, high capacity equipment, and new research intensive technologies.
The exhibitions are being held in Nizhny Tagil (Sverdlovsk Region) on July 9–12.
