On his way back from Perm, Vladimir Putin visited the headquarters of the Southern Military District in Rostov-on-Don.

Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Federation Valery Gerasimov Gerasimov Valery Gerasimov ValeryChief of the General Staff of Russia’s Armed Forces – First Deputy Minister of Defence reported to the President on the progress of the special military operation. The President also spoke with representatives of the Defence Ministry’s top leadership.
