The Centre has five departments, specifically an in-patient care unit with 200 beds, an outpatient clinic with the capacity to handle 300 visits per shift, the departments of radiotherapy, radionuclide diagnostics, medicinal antineoplastic therapy, and thoracic and abdominal cancer, six operating rooms, and intensive care units. Heavy-duty medical equipment has been purchased and installed.
Once opened, the cancer centre will provide local residents with access to cutting-edge medical treatments, eliminating the need for patients to seek advanced care outside the region. According to plans, the centre will have a staff of 700 specialists.
