Mr Medvedev noted that what has happened is Kyrgyzstan's internal affair but the protests reflect an extreme disaffection with incumbent authorities among ordinary people.
Kyrgyzstan was and remains one of Russia's strategic partners, so Russia will pay particular attention to how the situation in the Republic develops, Dmitry Medvedev said.
