President of Russia Vladimir Putin: Good afternoon.
Before we begin, I would like to remind you that today we are celebrating our State Flag which, along with the National Anthem and the National Emblem, is among the main symbols of our state.
At some point, the young Tsar Peter the Great sailed with it into the White Sea, and then throughout the centuries under the tricolour flag our country strengthened its might to become a great world power. Our military, heroes of the Fatherland, have for centuries defended our Motherland and our people under this banner, just as the heroes of our time are doing today in the area of hostilities.
The tricolour flag ties together our country and society. It is the crucial symbol of Russian statehood. I would like to congratulate you, colleagues, and all citizens of the country on this holiday.
Let’s get to work. Measures to support individual housing construction are our main discussion item today. Mr Faizullin will deliver a report.
Let’s start with day-to-day issues. Yesterday, Mikhail Murashko and I were in the Moscow Region to open a new large children’s clinical hospital. How are things with children’s healthcare overall? Mr Murashko, please go ahead.
