The message reads, in part:
”Over the past years, your agency, in conjunction with law enforcement, supervisory, and regulatory agencies, has undertaken a significant and necessary effort to stabilise the domestic financial credit sector, combat illegal financial transactions, and suppress the supply channels for terrorist and criminal groups. Overall, you have made a substantial contribution to strengthening the national security.
I would like to emphasise that financial intelligence officers are invariably distinguished by their high professional qualities, fidelity to duty, and integrity. Relying on the knowledge and experience of your predecessors, you place priority on improving the methods and modes of your operations, widely implement advanced, primarily digital technologies, and recognise the critical importance of training qualified personnel. Naturally, your educational and outreach programmes contribute significantly to raising the financial and legal literacy of the public, especially among young people. In this regard, I would like to mention such large-scale project of the Federal Service for Financial Monitoring and its partner organisations as the International Olympiad on Financial Security. This year, nearly 600 schoolchildren and students from 36 countries participated in its finals. With their support, a powerful International Financial Security Movement was created.
I am confident that you will continue to work diligently and properly fulfil your tasks for the benefit of the Fatherland.“
