The message reads, in part:
“Greetings to everyone who has inscribed their names in the chronicle of the student movement and who view themselves as part of one large, close-knit family. The fact that I have also been a member of the student teams movement in my younger years is something I am sincerely proud of.
Student teams are a source of youth. They help people forge stronger friendships and explore new romantic avenues in their life journeys. This movement also empowers young people and helps them focus on achieving their goals. It perpetuates great, time-tested traditions, which have been passed down from one generation to another. In fact, those who joined this movement did so by answering their heart’s calling rather than being instructed to act in this way by someone else. They volunteered to work on major infrastructure projects, built cities and villages, developed virgin land, laid the Baikal-Amur Mainline and built the country’s biggest power stations. They faithfully served their Fatherland.
We cannot but welcome the fact that you have been just as enthusiastic and bold in undertaking the most challenging tasks today. You work in the construction and transport sectors, as well as in manufacturing and agriculture, while also studying to be able to work in healthcare and education. On a special note, we must recognise and praise you for your volunteer efforts in Donbass, the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, and for the meaningful support you have been providing to our heroes and their families as part of the Snow Paratroopers campaign.
I am certain that this convention has a great deal of creative potential, and will pave the way for new meaningful projects and initiatives.”
