This centre has established a comprehensive framework to support individuals with disabilities, encompassing a wide scope of medical, social, and vocational rehabilitation services. These services are delivered in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and also through a team of mobile rehabilitation specialists.
Vladimir Putin was shown rooms dedicated to medical gymnastics, verticalisation, and ambulation training, as well as areas for social and psychological adjustment of children, and sections for thermotherapy and hydrotherapy. The Head of State also inspected the swimming pool facilities and visited one of the wards.
Accompanying the President were Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova and Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. The Director of the Rehabilitation Centre, Svetlana Volovets, provided explanations throughout the visit.
