I would like to stress that in today’s challenging times, when Russia faces deliberate efforts to distort the truth about our ancestors’ military victories and labour achievements, to undermine the timeless spiritual and moral ideals they passed down to us, and to outlaw the Russian language and the great Russian culture, your work takes on particular importance.”
