The President’s message reads, in part:
“Thanks to tireless creative efforts by outstanding researchers, managers, engineers and specialists in the past years your enterprise has designed dozens of advances types of weapons for the Strategic Missile Forces, the Navy and the Aerospace Forces of the country and brought to life unparalleled innovative design solutions in the nuclear energy complex and some other key sectors of the economy.
It is gratifying that the current staff of the Russian Federal Nuclear Center — Zababakhin All-Russia Research Institute for Technical Physics fittingly follows on the amazing traditions of their predecessors and makes a sizeable contribution to ensuring Russia’s technology and industrial sovereignty and strengthening the defence capabilities and national security of the country.”
The designs of the institute, which is one of the key enterprises of the Rosatom State Corporation, make up over a half of the present Russian nuclear arsenal.
