The two presidents adopted a joint declaration marking the 65th anniversary of the end of World War II, and signed an action plan for strategic partnership between the Russian Federation and Brazil.

Two intergovernmental agreements were signed following the talks: on cooperation in guaranteeing international information and communications security and mutual protection, and on mutual protection of intellectual property and other results of intellectual work obtained during the course of bilateral military technical cooperation. A programme for scientific and technical cooperation and a plan for political consultations between the Russian and Brazilian foreign ministries in 2010–2012 were signed, as was a memorandum between the Russian Federal Customs Service and the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade on cooperation, information exchange, and mutual assistance within the Generalised System of Preferences.

The two presidents held a joint news conference following their talks.
