Attending the restricted-format meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council were leaders of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union: President of Russia Vladimir Putin, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, as well as Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Bakytzhan Sagintayev.
Taking part in the expanded format meeting were President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as well as the heads of delegations of other EAEU observer states, including Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Russia Kazem Jalali and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cuba to Russia Henrique Orta Gonzalez. The meeting participants also heard a video address by the President of Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez. Indonesian Minister of Trade Budi Santoso also took part in the meeting.
Following the meeting, the sides signed a package of documents.
In particular, decisions were adopted On Approaches to the Development of Trade and Economic Cooperation with the Main Partners of the Eurasian Economic Union in the Medium Term; On the Main Directions of the International Activities of the Eurasian Economic Union for 2026; On the Key Guidelines for the Macroeconomic Policy of the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union for 2026˗2027; and On the Concept for the Development of Tourism within the Eurasian Economic Union.
Additionally, a decision was signed to launch negotiations on concluding an agreement between the EAEU and its member states and the Republic of Uzbekistan on the exchange of information concerning goods and international vehicles crossing the customs borders of the EAEU and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The sides also signed, in the presence of members of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, the Action Plan (Roadmap) for the Implementation of the Declaration on the Future Development of Economic Processes within the EAEU until 2030 and for the period up to 2045, The Eurasian Economic Path, and a free trade agreement between the EAEU and its member states and the Republic of Indonesia.
