Nevertheless, I would like to discuss the current challenges facing this crucial law enforcement body and to hear your assessment of how the transition to your new position as Prosecutor General is progressing.
I hardly need to tell you how vital this work is: it represents one of the most critical links in our entire system of public administration. Every effort must be made to ensure the rights and legitimate interests of citizens are fully upheld – a paramount task. There are also many other pressing issues to address.
