Dmitry Medvedev emphasised that last summer was difficult for the agriculture sector and the fishing industry in the areas along the lower reach of the Volga River. President Medvedev announced that he will instruct the Government to draft a programme to deepen the Volga delta.
Mr Medvedev expressed his appreciation of the efforts by the authorities of the Astrakhan Region and perfect arrangements for the Russian-Azerbaijani-Armenian summit.
