In his message, the President said, in particular:
“Your festival has once more brought prominent arts and culture figures, young film makers and numerous cinema lovers from Russia and other countries in the Baltic region to the Kaliningrad coast. Here interesting films await you, creative discussions and an exchange of views and new ideas that could lay the foundations for future joint projects.
The Baltic Debuts festival has already helped many beginning directors and actors to take their place in the cinema world and find their audience. I hope that this year’s festival will be just as much a real holiday for all participants, with memorable premieres, an excellent mood and unforgettable impressions.
I wish you success and all the very best”.
The film festival will take place from July 27-August 2 in Svetlogorsk (Kaliningrad Region). The competition programme includes works from Russia, Germany, Poland, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Estonia.
