President Vladimir Putin: Your Majesty, allow me to warmly welcome you to Sochi. I am aware that you spent the first part of your visit at the aerospace exhibit in Moscow. As far as I know, the conclusion of several contracts meant that you did not leave there empty-handed.
I am very pleased to see that relations between our countries are developing in such a successful way. I hope that we will have the chance to exchange opinions on the situation in the Middle East. Today I received a phone call from Mr Abbas who, knowing that you are my guest, asked me to pass on his best wishes. Welcome!
King of Jordan Abdullah II: Mr President, thank you for organising our meeting in the wonderful city of Sochi. I am very thankful to once again have the opportunity to visit Russia, and to meet with you. Today's meeting is a continuation of our close ties, which stem from our traditionally close relations. As you mentioned, during the previous two days I visited the aerospace exhibit. Our relations will continue to develop in the future.
I am very interested in exchanging impressions and opinions with you. We certainly wish to discuss our relations, the peace process, and other questions of mutual interest.
