The party’s work in 2019, plans for 2020 and specific lawmaking initiatives were discussed.
According to Sergei Mironov, A Just Russia political party faction submitted 171 draft bills to the State Duma, with 27 of them adopted and signed by the President, in particular those on supporting families with many children.
Mr Mironov also spoke about two lawmaking initiatives: one on the regulation of the cost of vital medicine at chemist shops and the second on the maximum allowable share of expenses for housing and communal services. To date, under the federal law, it accounts for 22 percent of the total family income. A bill that lowers this share from 22 to 15 percent will be introduced during the spring session.
