Dmitry Medvedev visited the city’s maternity hospital, saw some of its departments, and spoke with the staff. The President discussed the region’s development with Governor of Kostroma Region Igor Slyunyayev.
Mr Medvedev also visited the Kostroma Regional Duma, where he met with regional leaders of United Russia, Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, and Just Russia parties, as well as the regional election commission. Later, the President discussed current issues of Russia’s political system development at a meeting with young parliamentary deputies.
