The Russian President
and former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi made a two-day trip to the Crimean Federal District.

the Massandra Palace of Emperor Alexander III
and the Massandra Winery.
In Yalta, the Russian President and former Prime
Minister of Italy took a walk along the seashore esplanade and met
with representatives of the Crimean Italian community Cerchio. The final event of the first day was a visit to Livadia Palace.
On the second day, the President of Russia and the former Italian Prime Minister visited the Khan’s Palace at the Bakhchisarai historical, cultural and archaeological
open-air museum. Later in Sevastopol Vladimir Putin and Silvio Berlusconi
visited St Vladimir’s Cathedral, inspected archeological dig at the Chersonesus
Tavrichesky national preserve and answered to journalists’ questions.
