State visit to Kazakhstan. Summits of the CIS and Supreme Eurasian Economic Council

Vladimir Putin had talks with President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in Astana on October 15, following which a number of cooperation agreements were signed. The two presidents made press statements. Later that day, Mr Putin visited the Holy Dormition Cathedral.

On October 16, Mr Putin took part in the summits of the CIS Council of Heads of State and the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Borovoye. Mr Putin also had a meeting with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
