Visit to China

While on an official visit to China, Vladimir Putin met with President of China Xi Jinping. The two presidents then witnessed the signing of a package of cooperation agreements and made press statements. They also visited an exhibition The Russian-Chinese Border – A Border of Peace and Cooperation, organised to mark the opening of a media tour of Russian and Chinese journalists, and took part in a gala event celebrating the 15th anniversary of signing of the Treaty on Good-Neighbourliness, Friendship and Cooperation between Russia and China.

Mr Putin also held meetings with Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Chinese National People’s Congress Zhang Dejiang and Premier of the State Council Li Keqiang.
