The President's two-day visit to Kazakhstan
began on October 13 with his participation in the 6th Summit Meeting of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA).
On the sidelines of the CICA Summit, the President held a series of bilateral meetings with Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim
bin Hamad Al Thani, President of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas, President of Turkiye Recep
Tayyip Erdogan and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. In addition, Astana
hosted trilateral talks between the leaders of Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
On October 14, Vladimir Putin attended a CIS
Heads of State Council meeting and the first Russia-Central Asia summit.
Concluding
his visit to Kazakhstan, the President spoke to media representatives.
