The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Economic Development Murat Kerefov, Nizhny Novgorod Region Governor Gleb Nikitin, Arkhangelsk Region Governor Alexander Tsybulsky, Murmansk Region Governor Andrei Chibis, Tambov Region Governor Maxim Yegorov, Head of Chuvashia Oleg Nikolayev and President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Alexander Shokhin, as well as representatives of federal and regional executive authorities, businesses and the expert community.
During the meeting, the participants discussed key elements of the State Council’s report on Developing the Investment Climate in the Russian Federation's Constituent Entities, along with issues related to business’ access to new sources of financing, enhancing the effectiveness of interaction between investors and the state through digital services and communications channels, and challenges associated with implementing investment projects and improving the investment climate until 2030. Additionally, social investment and responsible business practices came under review.
The recommendations arising from the Commission’s meeting will be reviewed and incorporated into the State Council’s report to help define the strategy for developing the investment sphere until 2030 and beyond. Moreover, these recommendations will also be taken into account for further use in the activities of the federal and regional executive authorities responsible for implementing investment projects and administrative regulation.
