The Russian Popular Front (RPF) congress will have two phases. On the first day, June 11, core members from various Russian regions will discuss the movement’s development prospects and its plans for the years ahead. They will also submit policy documents for discussion.
It is expected that RPF statutory documents will be adopted on the second day. The movement’s central governing body will also be elected then.
The event will be attended by more than 1,500 people. They include representatives of non-governmental organisations who have joined the RPF, presidential authorised representatives, coordinators of regional RPF organising committees, regional leaders, representatives of academic and business communities, cultural and artistic figures, as well as members of religious and expert communities.
