The President will be visiting the forum for the fourth time; he previously visited Seliger and met with its participants in 2009, 2011 and 2012.
The current Seliger Youth Forum is being held from July 14 until August 5 and consists of three sequential thematic sections: the Youth Project Forum, the Business Forum and the Civic Forum. Vladimir Putin will meet with participants in the latter section.
The Civic Forum, which is the final phase of Seliger 2013, is bringing together over 5,000 representatives from youth divisions of political parties and NGOs, as well as civic activists. In total, over 15,000 visitors are attending Seliger this year from all of Russia’s regions and countries around the world.
