The Council members are expected to report to the President on their plans for the current year and to discuss the most urgent civil society issues, including ways to improve the system of state support for human rights organisations and legislation on non-profit organisations, as well as the future development of public control and reform of the judicial system.
In addition to the 61 Council members, the meeting will be attended by Human Rights Ombudsman Vladimir Lukin and First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Vyacheslav Volodin.
