The President will visit Tula Region on January 20, where he will inspect the work and latest designs at the KBP Instrument Design Bureau, a defence industry company engaged in developing high-precision weapons.
Mr Putin will also hold a meeting on the Advanced Research Foundation’s work. Taking part will be Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, Presidential Aide Andrei Fursenko, President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Fortov, federal ministers and heads of state corporations.
The Advanced Research Foundation was established in 2012 to facilitate advanced scientific research and development that would contribute to Russia’s defence, achieve quality new results in the field of military technology, and find practical applications for innovative scientific and technological ideas.
